Arusha → Tarangire National Park
After a short morning briefing at your hotel in Arusha, your private safari begins with a drive toward Tarangire National Park. The landscape opens into classic Tanzanian savannah, with iconic baobab trees, seasonal swamps, and lagoons. The Tarangire River draws large concentrations of wildlife, particularly elephants, while giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, gerenuk, fringe-eared oryx, buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests may be encountered. Lions are among the predators present, while leopards are seen occasionally and cheetahs are rarely spotted. From the open-roof safari vehicle, you can enjoy unobstructed views of the landscape and wildlife before continuing to your lodge in the late afternoon.
