The Serengeti is one of Africa’s most famous national parks and is available all year round. If the Great Migration is high on your bucket list, then there are a few things to note when planning your visit. The Great Migration is in the Southern Serengeti from December to March, while the Calving Season occurs from late January to February. In June, the Western Serengeti is best to see the Migration crossing the Grumeti River, and from mid-July to the end of October, the Mara River crossing is the best time to visit.
