Day 2

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Tarangire

Tarangire National Park Game Drive

After breakfast, you will head to Tarangire for a full day of game viewing and wildlife spotting. Tarangire is underrated for those who like to explore. You will drive through the savannah to study and learn about small creatures and spot many animals.
Journey Distance and Time: From Arusha to Tarangire—120 km/2 hours’ drive.
Lunch & afternoon & evening game viewing
1:30pm: A lunch will be served by your guide at the picnic site. Later on, continue with the game viewing till late in the evening, where you will head to your accommodation for dinner, relaxation, and overnight.
Experience & Activity
Today your safari will take place in Tarangire National Park. This is one of the most interesting places in Tanzania! The river of the same name flows through the park, where giraffes, zebras,
Antelopes and buffaloes come to drink. These animals attract predators, which is why a lot of lions live in Tarangire. You will definitely see them during your trip.
In the dry season, the Tarangire River becomes the only source of drinking water for many kilometers around. Because of this, large herds of elephants come to Tarangire, making Tarangire the home to the largest population of elephants in Northern Tanzania for most of the year (especially June - October and December - March). Elephants are not at all intimidated by visitors to the park, and they often come quite close to cars. This is completely safe—since elephants have no enemies in their natural nature, they are naturally curious and unafraid. Later in the evening you will drive to your accommodation for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

After a day on safari, you're sure to have worked up an appetite. Dinner is included at your lodge and begins between 7 and 7:30pm. Share safari stories with new friends before tucking in the rest up for the next day.

Day 3

Drive to Central Serengeti National Park for game drive

Central Serengeti

After breakfast, you’ll set out for one last adventure in the Central Serengeti, exploring areas you may not have reached over the past two days. In the wild, no two days are the same—today offers a final opportunity to catch a unique moment or rare sighting. As midday approaches, your guide will select a picturesque spot to enjoy a bush lunch, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the savanna. Afterward, you’ll begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Experience & Activity
This final game drive through the Serengeti promises new surprises. Wildlife behavior shifts daily—lions once lounging in the grass might be on the move, while elephants that kept their distance before may now come curiously close. You may even witness a cheetah climbing a safari vehicle, scanning the horizon for prey.
This morning is also the perfect time to visit the iconic Kopjes—ancient granite outcrops that rise dramatically from the plains. These unique formations offer shade to animals and are favored resting spots for big cats, making them excellent for photography.
A special highlight today is Simba Rock, thought to have inspired the unforgettable moment in The Lion King when Mufasa lifts baby Simba above the savanna. Seeing this real-life landmark brings the magic of the Serengeti full circle.
In the late afternoon, you’ll make your way to Ngorongoro, arriving at your lodge for a well-earned rest. Tomorrow, the legendary crater awaits.

After an exciting day on safari, enjoy a delicious dinner served between 7:00 and 7:30 p.m. at your lodge. It’s the perfect time to reflect on the journey so far and share stories with fellow travelers. Then retreat to your room for a peaceful night—ready for the wonders of Ngorongoro Crater tomorrow.

Waking up in the Serengeti is a magical experience—the sights, sounds, and scents of the African wilderness all around you. After breakfast, you’ll set out with your driver-guide for a full-day game drive, exploring the rich landscapes and diverse wildlife of this iconic national park. By early afternoon, you’ll return to the lodge for a hot lunch and a well-deserved break.
Safari Siesta!
During the heat of the day, enjoy some quiet time—just like the animals do. Relax by the pool if available or at the camp, enjoy a good book, take a safari siesta, or indulge in a spa treatment if available. A leisurely lunch will be served between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM. Later in the afternoon, depart for an evening game drive, returning to your lodge around 6:00 PM.
Experience & Activity
Today’s focus is on discovering the magic of the endless plains of the Serengeti. Spanning nearly 15,000 sq km, this legendary park lives up to its Maasai name, Siringet, meaning “the place where the land runs on forever.” It’s not only home to the famed Big Five—lion, leopard, bush elephant, African buffalo, and black rhino—but also to a stunning array of other species. As the day winds down, you’ll make your way back to your accommodation for rest and reflection.
